Search for the Best contest

Do you know of a great gifted resource that's not already included on Hoagies' Gifted Education Page?  Submit it for our new quarterly contest for the best new resource!  Send your link, article or resource to webmaster@hoagiesgifted.org.  Every quarter, the best recommended article or resource will win your choice of a Hoagies' Gifted Education Page t-shirt or mug, from Café Press.

Winner for November-December 2005 is... ok, this is getting redundant.  Guess who?  Kathi Kearney.  It's been said that Kathi is one of the most valuable players in gifted education and twice exceptional children today, and I don't doubt it.  Kathi, in addition to your Hoagies' Gifted Education Page hoodie, would you like a tote bag or a mug?  Thanks for all you do, Kathi!  From now on, we'll thank Kathi for her continuing contributions, however she is disqualified for the contest.  Who's going to win next quarter?  Contribute your favorite links, and it might be you!

Winner for September-October 2005 is... yup, you guessed it: Kathi Kearney, again, for her contributions of new Hoagies' Gifted Education pages: Free Online K-8, High School and College Courses for Students Displaced by Hurricane Katrina! and Free Online High School Courses, plus her link contributions to Gifted Students At Risk, Creatively Gifted, Mathematically Gifted, Scientifically Gifted and Gifted History, to mention just a few.  But in her most magnanimous way, Kathi has suggested that we give this month's award to her runner-up.  Thanks again, Kathi!

And therefore, we pass our Congratulations to Kit Finn, for her page of Free Online Text Materials to compliment Kathi's Free Online High School Courses.  Thanks, Kit, these will benefit many gifted kids!

Winner for July-August 2005 Kathi Kearney, for the link to Gifted Education Professional Learning Package Recommended, in Gifted Programs and Don't Miss! plus...
bulletDepartment of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) gifted education, in Gifted Programs
