These organizations are private, independent foundations.  While not seeking donations, they offer a variety of valuable resources for gifted children.

Davidson Foundation
The mission of The Davidson Foundation is to advance learning, enhance human potential, and empower people to live lives of achievement and service. The Davidson Young Scholars program is a free program comprised of a set of services designed to nurture the intellectual development of profoundly gifted young people.  Davidson Fellows are extraordinary young people who have completed a significant piece of work in mathematics, science, technology, music, literature, or philosophy that has the potential to benefit society.
 
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
The mission of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is to help young people of exceptional promise reach their full potential through education. Young Scholars program offers scholarships for highly able youth to provide them with individualized educational services throughout high school and help them develop their talents and abilities
