Believable Deceit

I thought It was over
That I had won
But I was about to realize
It had just begun

You told me they said
What I wanted to hear
But I didn't know
It was you I should fear

I strode down the Hall
I walked very slow
But I did not realize
You had sunk to a new low

A reunion again
I raced to meet
But my voice raced too fast
Too fast for my feet

With my head in the clouds
My heart began to race
My head not in the clouds
I had it in space

A believable deception
You produced to me
I had to run away
I had to flee...
