Clearinghouse on Disabilities and Gifted Education |
http://www.ericec.org/ |
Most material will be incorporated into the
Information Center on Disabilities and Gifted Education on the web site of
our host organization, Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). In
addition, there are plans to continue developing and maintaining the
Exceptional Child Education Resources (ECER) database, which is the
world's most comprehensive reference to the published professional
literature in special education, gifted education, and related services.
In light of a "downsized" ERIC, ECER will provide a much-needed
alternative in special and gifted education research and resources. |

Funding is not from ERIC
and therefore we will be able to continue on, although without the ERIC
connections.
The purpose of the
National TRIO Clearinghouse is to collect and disseminate information on
low-income, first generation college students and students with
disabilities, and access, preparation, and success in higher education
for these students. The Clearinghouse serves a resource to inform practice
in TRIO and other educational opportunity programs, and provides
information for the research community. |
