Professionals familiar with the Gifted
This is a far-from-comprehensive list of professionals often
recommended for gifted children's' services, recommended by parents and other
professionals. These references can help families dealing with various aspects of giftedness,
from family and child counselors, to twice exceptional resource specialists, to
developmental optometrists.
As with any recommendation, you should consider each individual carefully,
consider how
they fit with your family beliefs, and consider this listing as you
would a yellow pages entry.
For a collection of psychologists experienced with gifted children, many of whom offer the Stanford-Binet form L-M as a
supplemental measure for gifted children, and are all recommended for their work with the
gifted, visit Psychologists familiar with the
Gifted. Also read
