I have a thankful thought
that I have never brought
to the world.
I really want to share
the thing, I really care
tonight.
It's going too fast,
I'm not having enough time.
I'm now going to share the thing I really care about,
this!

This poem was written for a third grade class
assignment. Unfortunately, it received a "D-", with an "F" in content and
creativity, and a "D" in punctuation. Since I thought it was much better
than the grade reflected, I published it here as a tribute to my daughter,
may her creative spirit live through the third grade!
