Gifted Support

From national and international Organizations supporting many nations, to Regional Organizations for states and provinces in the U.S. and Canada, to IRL (in real life, see Acronyms, Terms, and other things we need to know...) and even on-line Conferences, there are tons of resources for the parents, educators, and the gifted children themselves, both in the real and virtual Internet worlds

On-line Support may be the most important resource for many of us - a way to contact other parents, educators, and even gifted children themselves - to share experiences and ideas, and to lessen the isolation that we often feel.  Here you can find mailing lists, discussion boards, and even an on-line conference.  Groups may be organized by audience (parents, teachers), geography (international, US states, Australia, etc.), or specific topic (twice exceptional children, teachers using William & Mary curriculum units, etc.).

However you get it, be sure to get the support that you and your gifted children need!
