Research Connections in Special Education Number 4 Winter 1999 Positive Behavioral Support Federal law now requires that the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team consider strategies, including positive behavioral interventions and supports, to address inappropriate behavior that impedes a student's learning and/or the learning of others. This issue describes promising research in using positive behavioral supports to improve learning opportunities for students with disabilities. | |
